Putting the cap on the Winter of ’25-’26.
Let’s call it 55 inches of snow for the season at the Regional Airport, adding in another .6 inches from April and .3 inches from May 2nd.
But with fewer lake-effect events this season, that total is actually 13 inches below our usual 67.8-inch snowfall.
May is usually snow-free, so the .3 recorded at the airport on May 2nd is unusual.
But it seems safe now to make the final call for Winter.
