The ribbon was cut for the new location of the East Palestine Primary Care Clinic on Thursday.
The remodeled facility is operated by East Liverpool City Hospital.
Ohio Health Director Doctor Bruce Vanderhoff participated, saying the facility provides better access for local residents to primary care physicians.
In addition, the new location has been designated a Rural Health Clinic, receiving greater federal support.
The state put up $750,000 for the project.
