A new one-mile walking trail near the Regional Airport was dedicated last week to Joe Maxin, the pilot killed in a plane crash near the airfield last Summer.
From above, the Air Heritage Trail is shaped like a C-130 aircraft.
It’s not a bike or e-bike trail, it’s just for walking.
The trail is at Route 193 and King Graves Road.
At the same time as the dedication last week, ground was broken for the Aviation Education Center in partnership with YSU.
