Thousands in Mahoning County are still waiting for the power to come back on.
This, after strong winds during a Tornado Warning took down large trees from Canfield to Boardman Township to Poland, bringing wires and poles down too.
26,000 Mahoning County Ohio Edison customers were offline Sunday afternoon.
That number was at 8,000 at 9 a.m. Monday.
Edison is not providing a timeline for service restoration.
Similar storm damage involving large trees, power poles and more in the past have taken several days or more to repair.
A trained weather spotter in Poland measured a wind gust of 77 miles an hour.
The weather service will survey the damage on Monday.
