The air will no doubt be filled with even more fireworks as we get closer to the July 4th holiday and America’s 250th birthday.
So it’s important now to be sure you’re buying from a licensed dealer of consumer fireworks, says the State Fire Marshal’s Office.
They say don’t accept fireworks from a neighbor, and certainly do not try making your own.
There were 110 fireworks-related incidents in Ohio last year.
One person was killed in Liberty Township in an explosion that involved the illegal manufacturing of fireworks.
