The price of diesel fuel in the Mahoning Valley peaked at an average $6.78 on Wednesday, according to AAA.

Ohio’s peaked at $6.82 on Tuesday.

Locally Friday morning, the price was $6.72.

The average for gasoline in the Mahoning Valley was $4.36.
