12 people were killed in traffic accidents over the four-day Labor Day weekend in Ohio, according to the state patrol.
That’s down from 27 last year.
Just one of the 12 crashes has been determined to be OVI-related, but not all the investigating has been completed.
42-year-old Heather Robinson of Cortland was killed when her motorcycle hit a horse that walked out on the road on Route 46 in Bazetta Township early Friday.
Across Ohio, over 2,100 drivers and passengers were cited for a seat belt violation,
1,500 were cited for distracted driving.
