No jail time on reduced charges, but San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York now faces potential discipline from the NFL for violating the league’s personal conduct policy.
The Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force picked up the 46-year-old York at a mobile home park near East Palestine where he apparently believed he was meeting a woman for sex.
Charges were reduced from misdemeanor ‘engaging in prostitution’ to ‘disorderly conduct’ in municipal court in Columbiana County.
The Youngstown native had a two-day jail sentence suspended.
It’s not known what punishment the league might mete out.
