The U.S. Marshall Service operates Violent Fugitive Task Forces in eight northern Ohio metropolitan areas including Warren-Youngstown, with the goal of combining federal and local resources to make arrests.
So why not combine all those resources, making for a large task force?
That’s what the Marshall Service did for eight weeks between May and July, with one week dedicated to each metro area.
They revealed Tuesday that Operation Northern Shield made 684 total arrests.
And 200 guns (some seen above) were confiscated.
