The Air Quality Advisory for all of Ohio issued by the Ohio EPA continues until Friday night at midnight.
Some of the fine particles in the air have shifted south of the area, but the Air Quality Index could still hit “hazardous” levels like it did on Thursday.
Youngstown-Warren AQI reached as high as 505 in mid- and late afternoon Thursday.
That’s in the hazardous range.
It’s recommended that everyone stay inside when the AQI tops 300.
Most recent air quality was “very unhealthy”, between 200 and 300.
