There was a small EF-1 tornado that did some damage Sunday afternoon in Austintown and Canfield Townships.
But it was a 10-mile-long macroburst of 90 mile an hour wind that brought down a thousand trees and did other damage in a three mile wide path along Route 224 from Canfield Township to the other side of Poland, says the National Weather Service.
Under 4,500 Ohio Edison customers remained without power as of 10 a.m. Tuesday.
They hope to have most of the larger outages back in service by 11 p.m. Tuesday night.

Governor Mike DeWine declared a state of emergency in the county, directing all state departments to lend their assistance where needed.
