After more than two weeks of below-normal temperatures, the National Weather Service says things are heating up for the weekend and early next week,
After a high of 57 at the Regional Airport on Thursday, highs will be in the low 80s Sunday and the upper 80s with some humidity Monday and Tuesday.
There’s a cooldown for the holiday weekend though.
