The state of Ohio has joined 20 other states in court, accusing Tennessee-based Dollar General of false advertising and consumer gouging.
The FTC is also suing the discount retailer, saying customers paid more at the cash register than the advertised price or the price listed on the shelves or on the merchandise.
Dollar General says it will “vigorously” defend this litigation.
