$72-million in ODOT Highway Safety Improvement Program funding is being made available.
And Trumbull County is cashing in.
A couple of future projects are receiving early funding, like the planned 2030 R-CUT project at Routes 422 and 305 in Southington Township, getting $2.5 million.
The R-CUT restricts movement in the intersection to right turns and merges.
And there’s $5.6 million for a roundabout at Routes 5 and 534 in Braceville Township.
