After 120 years in business, the Youngstown-based Schwebel Baking Company is winding down operations.
The bread maker with production facilities in Youngstown and the Columbus area will operate through the July 4th weekend.
There are also retail stores and distribution centers in Ohio, Pennsylvania and New York.
CEO Steve Cooper says the business will be liquidated.
He says they consulted with possible buyers and investors, but saw no path forward.
The family-owned business got its start in Campbell.
The production facilities also made private-label bread products.
Cooper thanked employees, customers and business partners in a press release.
