Governor Mike DeWine signed the capital budget bill on Monday.
Senate Bill 450 provides $3.7 billion for community projects from school facilities to sports fields.
Local funding includes $650,000 for Niles park improvements, $400,000 for the Northeast Ohio Medical University/Akron Children’s Warren Health Center expansion, and $450-grand for the YSU Trumbull County Regional Fire Training Facility.
YSU itself is getting over 11 million for improvements.
