If you’re joining in with the other 1.52 million Ohioans traveling by car to a Memorial Day destination this weekend, AAA has some travel advice.
The worst time to be on road is Thursday afternoon and Friday afternoon between 3 and 7.
That’s when the commuter traffic mixes with longer-distance traffic, especially in urban areas.
Not too soon to plan for the trip back too, says AAA Ohio’s Morgan Dean, so avoid Monday afternoon between Noon and 6.
Sunday is expected to be the lightest travel day.
