65 National Weather Service storm spotters, most from Trumbull County, got together Tuesday night at Kent State Trumbull for their annual Skywarn training.
NWS Cleveland Warning Coordination Meteorologist Freddie Ziegler’s presentation covered not just tornadoes, but all types of severe weather.
Present many times throughout the two hours was the need for storm spotters to stay safe.
He says the weather service wants storm reports from people’s homes.
They don’t need to go traveling.
