Gasoline prices are up an average twenty cents over the last three days: the AAA average price this morning is $2.98 a gallon in the Youngstown-Warren metro area… At the state level, the average price in the survey is over three dollars again, at $3.02.

With a new law in place requiring Ohio school districts to create a policy to limit cell phone use by students, a survey by the Department of Education and Workforce shows 60-percent of the state’s districts have adopted policies, while most of the remaining districts were either drafting or revising their policy; the deadline is next July… Governor Mike DeWine says it’s difficult for individual teachers to institute a cell phone policy…. And that’s why they are best instituted at the building or district level.
