Ohio deer hunters embraced the colder weather last week: 87,000 deer were checked in during Deer Gun Week, and that’s the highest deer harvest for that season since 2011… Last year, Deer Gun Week saw 70,000 deer taken; while Coshocton County was again tops in the state, Ashtabula County was number six at nearly 2300 deer harvested.
