Ohio Department of Transportation District 4 officials were in Youngstown on Tuesday, revealing their 2026 construction season plans.
ODOT announced that nearly a thousand road projects are under construction or will be in the state this year.
The major local project is the pavement replacement project on I-680 between the Madison Avenue Expressway and South Avenue.
Northbound 680 traffic is set to be moved to the city’s expressway system in a week and a half.
The entire $59.5 million project should be completed in October of 2027.
