A three-and-a-half mile stretch of the Ohio Turnpike in Trumbull County will see new pavement, with a project that starts today: two lanes of traffic will be maintained in the work zone between the two Lordstown exits and the new toll barrier in Newton Township…. There’s also construction on the Route 224 bridge over the turnpike in Canfield Township.
In a WARN closing notice filed with the state, Insight Health indicates Hillside Hospital may not open again; it indicates 143 employees are furloughed for as much as six months… or more… No such notice has been filed on behalf of Trumbull hospital and the other Insight facilities in the county… Paychecks were canceled or voided by the Michigan-based company last week.
