91-point-five percent of Ohio’s two-year-olds have been vaccinated against the measles; the CDC says it should be 95-percent for community protection… The Ohio Department of Health is stressing the importance of the measles vaccine given the outbreak in the southwestern part of the country… As it was decades ago, measles is highly contagious and complications can lead to death; the vaccine is said to be 97-percent effective.
It takes more income to be considered “middle class” in some states: a Smart Asset report shows a $45,000 household income is considered middle class in Ohio, but you have to make $65,000 in Massachusetts to reach that same income class… The upper income/middle income line is drawn at $135,000 in Ohio.
