Warren firefighters rescued cats and a dog from a house fire on Parkman Road NW near Northwest Blvd last night… Residents were able to safely get out.
Private and government snowplows are getting a workout so far this Winter season, especially when compared to the previous two very mild Winters… ODOT’s Brent Kovacs says the plows are out more often, and they’re getting hit more often: 14 crashes involving ODOT snowplows already this year; a third of the crashes involves drivers slamming into the back end of the brightly-flashing vehicles… Kovacs suggests at least two car lengths between you and the plow.
