An 88-year-old Champion Township woman is dead after walking away from her Warrenton Drive NW home near Champion High School yesterday morning; despite an intensive search, she was found dead on a neighbor’s porch.
Donald Trump was certainly top news in 2024: not just his Election as president, but that assassination attempt in nearby western Pennsylvania… A House task force recently released its report on the incident, critical of the Secret Service’s advance planning, creation of a secure perimeter, and mitigation of sight lines… Trumbull County Republican Congressman Dave Joyce was part of that committee; the report calls for changes in operational action by the service; he wants the service to be proactive rather than reactive… One man was killed and Trump and two others were injured by a gunman at the Butler Pennsylvania rally.
