A Warren home on Oak Street not far from Nevada Street SW is a total loss after a Christmas Day fire… The vacant home was being remodeled; 21 News says it’s expected to be ruled an arson.
Ohio grain farmers, like Browns fans, are “waiting til next year” when it comes to an updated Farm Bill… The Continuing Resolution keeping the government operating into the new year also extends the provisions of the 2018 Farm Bill once again… There was hope for a year-round E-15 standard for gasoline, but that did not end up in the final bill; it would have made so-called “Unleaded 88” available all year long instead of just during the Summer; the fuel is 15-percent ethanol instead of the current 10-percent… Some gas station chains promote the lower price of Unleaded 88 when it is available… 35-percent of Ohio’s corn crop goes to the seven plants in the state that produce ethanol for gasoline.
