The federal death penalty is being considered as an option if the two men accused of killing a Warren mail carrier back in March are found guilty: Prosecutors are mulling that over in the cases against 44-year-old David Sledge and 24-year-old Kaprise Sledge, accused of gunning down 33-year-old Jont’e Davis on Olive Avenue NE.
Opponents are already prepared to go to court before the transgender bill even takes effect… The Ohio Education Association has been against it, though they plan NO legal action; president of the teachers union Scott DiMauro says the way the bill is implemented could cause harm to certain students in the state… The bill mandates that Ohio K through twelve schools only allow students to use bathrooms and locker rooms which align with their gender assigned at birth… The bill also bans students from sharing overnight housing with students of the opposite assigned-at-birth sex.
